I never thought I'd see the day when a monk would wear a Chanel handbag, but there he was, striding down the street with his head held high and that iconic quilted bag in tow. It was certainly a sight to behold.
People were stopping on the sidewalk to get a closer look at him, and some were even taking pictures. He seemed to be enjoying all of the attention. In fact, he looked downright proud of himself.
I have to admit that I was curious about why he had chosen such an unconventional accessory. So I approached him and asked him what inspired him to buy it.
Why not? he replied with a smile. Chanel is the height of fashion, and I wanted to show everyone that even monks can enjoy luxury items sometimes.
I have to say that I was impressed by his answer. It showed that he wasn't afraid to stand out from the crowd and be different. And isn't that what living life courageously is all about?
